I recently returned to Astreas Hotel, and it's clear why this place continues to draw me in. Nestled just 50 meters from the stunning Fig Tree Bay, the location is a dream for any beach lover. My apartment was spacious and tidy, offering a serene escape after long sun-filled days-complete with a commendable air-conditioning unit for those warm Cyprus evenings. Dining here is a treat for the culinary enthusiast. The daily breakfast at the hotel's a la carte restaurant had me savoring traditional dishes outside, overlooking the glimmering pool. Nearby, local invites beckon: Yiasemi Tavern and its authentic Cypriot fare, or the tantalizing offerings of Koi restaurant just a short stroll away. The diversity of eateries allows for endless exploration-from Chinese to Italian, and even Korean. The staff, always courteous and helpful, made every meal feel like a special occasion, even on off days. Each culinary experience complemented an already perfect getaway, making it a solid choice for those who, like me, celebrate not only sun and surf but also the art of good food.
